DMI was incorporated in January, 1996. That August, The Turpentine Cats, the band I played with on Maui for eight years, opened for Willie Nelson at a sold-out concert and backed him for three encores. (That's me on lead guitar, behind The Man.) The Cats had so much fun, we decided to record our only CD. A good year all around.
